Shaikh Ibrahim Hindy serves as the Religious Director for Yaqeen Canada at the Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research. A dedicated scholar, he began his pursuit of Islamic knowledge at age 14, traveling to Egypt and Saudi Arabia to study with renowned scholars. He later earned a degree in Religious Studies from the University of Toronto and a Master of Arts in Usul al-Fiqh from Al-Madinah International University in Malaysia. Since beginning his work as a preacher and lecturer at age 18 in the Greater Toronto Area, Imam Hindy has become an active voice against hatred and xenophobia.
