Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Masood al-Nadvi is a respected Islamic scholar in Canada with advanced training in Sharīʿah and Islamic jurisprudence. He completed his ʿĀlimiyyah at Dārul ʿUlūm Nadwatul ʿUlamā in Lucknow, India, and earned a License in Sharīʿah from the Islamic University of Madinah. He later completed his Master’s and Ph.D. in Sharīʿah, specializing in Fiqh, from Umm al-Qura University in Makkah. Dr. Nadvi served as a professor at King Saud University in Riyadh before moving to Canada, where he has held senior leadership roles including President of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA). He currently serves as Chairman of the Canadian Council of Imams and the Fiqh Majlis of Canada.
