Warm and accessible exploration of the Qur’an aimed at strengthening our connection with Allah, deepening our understanding of His words, and cultivating true presence in our prayers. (Wednesdays after Isha prayers - winter times. Led by Sh Riad Ouarzazi)

Weekly gathering for sisters to come together, strengthen sisterhood, and embark on a spiritual journey through the authentic teachings of our beloved Prophet PBUH (Thursdays after Isha prayers- winter times. Led by Sh Riad Ouarzazi)

Hifz Program
The Hafiz Program offers a comprehensive and structured path for students dedicated to memorizing the Holy Qur’an. Under the guidance of qualified and experienced instructors, participants develop mastery of recitation, Tajweed, and memorization techniques in an environment that fosters discipline, spiritual growth, and a deep connection to the Qur’an.
Urdu Tafseer Program
Led by Dr. Masood Iqbal Nadvi every Sunday after Fajr, this weekly session offers a clear and insightful explanation of the Qur’an in Urdu, helping participants deepen their understanding.
Rise & Lead
Rise & Lead is a transformative faith-centred program helping young men and women (Ages 13 - 17) grow in character, responsibility, and confidence through guided reflection and positive peer influence (starting April 6 2026)
Recreational Programs
Stay Active, Stay Connected
YM Boys Youth Basketball (Ages 13–18) – Thursday Evenings
Develop teamwork, confidence, and athletic skills in a fun and structured environment. Weekly drills and friendly games help boys stay active and build discipline.
Father & Son Volleyball (Ages 14+) – Monday Evenings
A great bonding activity where fathers and sons learn volleyball fundamentals together. Enjoy teamwork, fitness, and quality family time in a supportive setting.
Taekwondo Classes – Saturday Mornings
Learn discipline, self-defense, and confidence through professional Taekwondo training. Classes focus on technique, focus, flexibility, and respect for all ages.
Badminton – Wednesday Evenings
Join recreational badminton to improve agility, coordination, and stamina. Perfect for all skill levels with structured play and friendly matches.
Sisters Volleyball (Ages 16 to 30)
Get active with sisters volleyball and build agility, coordination, and stamina. Designed for all skill levels with exciting games and a welcoming environment.
Scouts Program - Every Tuesday evening. 7:00 - 9:00 pm
Since 2009, the 1st Al-Falah Islamic Centre Scout Group has been guiding young Muslims in the western GTA through faith-based Scouting. With weekly meetings, our Cubs, Scouts, and Venturers build leadership, teamwork, and outdoor skills in a fun environment rooted in Islamic values. Through camps, service projects, and community activities, they learn duty to God, others, and themselves—growing into confident and responsible members of society.
